Business growth and restructuring has fuelled a significant drive for organisational change. Our experience clearly indicates that many new organisational teams have underperformed usually because when they were formed too much focus was given to their “task” rather than how they would operate as a team. Unfortunately, until everyone knows each other, is comfortable working together and has defined a common way of working, there is a strong likelihood that the unit will not perform as an effective team.
All teams have different characteristics based on the membership. We do not drill teams to perform in a certain way but provide a structure and facilitation to help them to discover their potential. This enables them to take responsibility for their own performance and to establish methods of reviewing their processes once back at work.
Our programme enables the team to form in an accelerated manner. People get to know each other better and appreciate each other’s strengths and contributions. They will also develop ways of working together that they are all committed to using and define agreed success criteria for evaluating their performance.
